Junior Tyler Jakes added one more trophy to his case this offseason. The Guillotine named Tyler 1st Team Academic All-State!
Tyler Jakes Earns All-State Honors! Junior captain Tyler Jakes brought home some hardware this past weekend placing 5th at the state wrestling tournament. Tyler finished the season with a 42-3 record and recorded 24 falls.
Jakes Win Section Title; Qualifies For State Tyler Jakes (182) became the first Scarlet wrestler since 2004 to capture a section championship. With the win Tyler qualified for the state tournament for the second time in his career. The individual portion of the state tournament will start this Friday, March 2nd. Tyler (39-1) will wrestle at 1:00 p.m. on mat 7.
